008 Advanced S.I.P.O.C. Chart (DCOE17)

The S.I.P.O.C. Chart serves a few purposes. The first is to give people who are unfamiliar with a process a high-level overview. Secondly, it is used to reacquaint people whose familiarity with a process has faded or become out-of-date due to process changes. It is also used to help people define new processes.  

The S.I.P.O.C. is also an important tool for capturing metrics or for metrics that should be captured. Process steps are identified which are moved to the Key Steps on the Value Stream Map in order to further opportunities within the procedure.

The material used to produced this system is a crystal clear Polyethylene substrate which allows the use of dry erase markers, easily stores or transports in a rolled up format and has great adhesive characters for the use of sticky notes.
